University Start Dates: Remember that most Universities start their degree courses, on campus, at only two points in the year (“in-takes” or start dates) around October and also January time.

Search & Check: Use the UCAS website to search for University degree courses that might accept our Access to Higher Education Courses, once successfully completed (or our Maths & English Functional Skills Level 2 courses, if you don’t already have Maths or English GCSE’s). Contact UCAS to check.

Debt Written Off: Don’t forget if you go on to successfully complete your University degree course, your 19+ Student Learner Loan that you used for your Access to HE course will be written off.

Access To HE Moderation: Having been supported by your Ixion College e-tutor during your studies, your work will also be quality assessed (“marked”) by a separate qualified Ixion College Assessor. Then, Ixion College Access to HE courses are moderated by the central Awarding Body (Ascentis). Only after the Awarding Body successful moderation can your Certificate be issued.
